
Dr. Michael J. Workman is a board certified interventional neuroradiological specialist.
As an undergraduate, Dr. Michael Workman studied Chemistry and Biology at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, going on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Dr. Workman later attended Duke University Medical Center where he completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology as well as a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Workman went on to add two more fellowships in Neuroradiology and Interventional Neuroradiology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Workman moved to Springfield, Missouri in 2003, joining Springfield Neurological & Spine Institute in 2004. In addition to his general interventional neuroradiology practice, Dr. Workman has specific clinical interest in treating cerebral aneurysms, neurological imaging, and percutaneous spine procedures. In his personal life, Dr. Workman enjoys spending time with his family, participating in athletics, and coaching cross country and track and field teams.
